The easiest way to describe the Cozy is: It has a basic design, it comes in 5 different versions and has numerous possibilities. All Cozy models share the same body and neck. The variations are in the bridge and pickup configuration. The Cozy is a modern guitar with a good dose of vintage vibe. The design elements can be traced back to the 1960s. Due to the endless nitro colors and different aging levels, each Cozy is unique. Its appearance will definitely remind you of an old guitar.
The Cozy is a guitar designed for the player. It has an ergonomically shaped offset body that nestles "comfortably" to the body. The contours make it easy to reach the high altitudes. Although the Cozy has a relatively large body, it is a lightweight guitar. Most versions remain under 2900 grams!
The neck has a comfortable C profile with a 10" radius that fits the hand of most players. The neck is made of baked maple for better stability and a smoother feel.
Kauffmann kept the electronics simple. 1 x volume, 1 x tone and a 3-way switch. It doesn't need more. If we combine these standard cozy features with the various bridges and pickups, the possibilities are endless.
