The Kauffmann S-Model could be described as the Swiss Army knife of guitars. At launch it was a very innovative design. Kauffmann pays tribute to this and builds on it.
All S models have that familiar, well-rehearsed feel. This feeling is most noticeable on the neck of a guitar. The edges of the fretboard are rolled and the finish of the neck is sanded down for a comfortable playing feel. The fretboard has a 9.5" radius and 6105 fret wire. The 50's models come with a maple fretboard and the 60's models with a rosewood fretboard.
The aged nitro finish gives the guitars their distinctive look. Vintage correct colors and occasional original creations are used. Kauffmann always pays attention to a realistic and balanced aging of the guitars. Because the details make the difference.
Kauffmann's own single coils are on board. The sound is best described as "creamy & bluesy" without losing transparency. CTS pots, vintage wire and a treblebleed are also installed. Another feature is the ability to show the neck pickup in the bridge position.

The variations are in the bridge and pickup configuration. The Cozy is a modern guitar with a good dose of vintage vibe. The design elements can be traced back to the 1960s. Kauffmann beschreibt das T-Model als Muttertier. Die, die alles gestartet hat. Ein magisches Design das heute genau so relevant wie damals ist. Alle T-Modelle haben dieses Vertraute gut eingespielte Gefühl. Am stärksten Merkt man dieses Gefühl am Hals einer Gitarre. Die Kanten des Griffbretts werden gerollt und das Finish vom Hals wird abgeschliffen für ein angenehmes Spielgefühl. Das Griffbrett ist mit einem 9,5“ Radius und 6105er Bunddraht versehen. Die 50er Modelle kommen mit einem Ahorn Griffbrett und die 60er Modelle mit einem Palisander Griffbrett. Das gealterte Nitro Finish gibt den Gitarren Ihren unverwechselbaren Look. Die 50er Modelle kommen mit einem Ahorn Griffbrett und die 60er Modelle mit einem Palisander Griffbrett. Das gealterte Nitro Finish gibt den Gitarren Ihren unverwechselbaren Look. Verwendet werden Vintage Korrekte Farben und gelegentlich Eigenkreationen. Kauffmann achtet immer auf ein realistisches und ausbalanciertes Aging der Gitarren. Den die Details machen den Unterschied. An Bord sind Kauffmanns eigene Singlecoils. Der Klang ist am besten als „creamy & bluesy“ zu beschreiben ohne an Transparenz zu verlieren. The Kauffmann S-Model could be described as the Swiss Army knife of guitars. At launch it was a very innovative design. Kauffmann pays tribute to this and builds on it. All S models have that familiar, well-rehearsed feel. This feeling is most noticeable on the neck of a guitar. The edges of the fretboard are rolled and the finish of the neck is sanded down for a comfortable playing feel. The fretboard has a 9.5" radius and 6105 fret wire. The 50's models come with a maple fretboard and the 60's models with a rosewood fretboard. The aged nitro finish gives the guitars their distinctive look. Vintage correct colors and occasional original creations are used. Kauffmann always pays attention to a realistic and balanced aging of the guitars. Because the details make the difference. Kauffmann's own single coils are on board. The sound is best described as "creamy & bluesy" without losing transparency. CTS pots, vintage wire and a treblebleed are also installed.
